SHANNON DELANEY
PATH meeting Facilitator
Shannon uses the nourishing somatic practices of breath regulation, movement and manipulation of the spine, and writing exploration, to embody Self. As a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, Registered Yoga Teacher, CranioSacral Therapy 1 practitioner, and a Psychiatric & Mental Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, she combines her clinical knowledge and therapeutic skills to guide others towards Self leadership.
Through her own journey of living with and learning from a neurological dis-ease diagnosis, Shannon has developed skills for holding space with chronic dis-eased parts and helping them unblend from Self. Shortly after graduating from Cornell University she began to experience increasingly intense neurological symptoms, which led to a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS). Shannon was twenty-two years old and was now left questioning life, its meaning, and her place in it. That is, until she started working with her gifted IFS therapist Tisha Schull (of the IFS Talks podcast) and was able to definitively say: I am Shannon, I am Self, I have many parts, including my beloved sister MS part. The greatest tragedy of her life became an opportunity for huge transformation.
Be still, my friend, and listen; for you have innate deep wisdom within your Self, always present. That is your gift.
